The European Parliament called for a zero-tolerance policy on corruption in football in a resolution approved on 11 June 2015.

The members in plenary underlined that in-depth structural reforms within FIFA were urgently needed, and regretted that recent corruption allegations against the international football federation has seriously damaged the credibility and the integrity of this sport modality.
