EU claims progress in U.S. trade talks [9th Round of negotiations]

Following the ninth round of negotiations between the European Union and the United States on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), both sides stated that they had made good progress in their talks, namely in terms of the chpaters concerning energy and raw materials.

However, European Union's chief negotiator admitted that an overall agreement on the trade deal would not take place before 2016.
