Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said on 16 February 2015 he had withdrawn from the national parliament the peace accords with Turkey signed in October 2009.

The accords establish diplomatic relations and open their land border, aiming to overcome the hostility between the two neighbouring countries which lasts since World War One.
