Anne Glover’s EU advisor role reinstated, MEP says

Ian Duncan, MEP, suggested to EurActiv in January 2015 that the post of Chief Scientific Advisor of the European Commission was now likely to be maintained, despite suggestions in the autumn of 2014 that the new Commission President Juncker would not keep the post in existence.

However, this interpretation of a comment by European Commission first Vice President Frans Timmermans on the 14 January 2015 was challenged by a Commission spokesperson the following day.
