Bulgaria ‘to take back asylum-seekers’ from rest of EU

The BBC and EurActiv reported on the 6 January 2015 that Bulgaria had agreed to take back more than 3,000 asylum seekers who had tried to settle in other EU countries.

Under the EU's Dublin II Regulation, the EU country where migrants first arrive was supposed to handle asylum claims.
