After much controversy, the United Kingdom completed on the 1 December 2014 the process of opting out of EU criminal law measures adopted before the entry into force of the Treaty of Lisbon, and opting back in to some of them. This blog post looks ats the legal framework for this process and the consequences of opting back in.
