Abstract: According to an audit carried out by the European Court of Auditors and published on 22 October 2014, some European Union subsidies for infrastructure projects in developing countries were considered to be superfluous. The Auditors revealed that of the 30 projects examined, half would have obtained the necessary funding from financial institutions even without the help of European subsidies. |
