Poland says will cooperate on climate change – for a fee

A document seen by Reuters in October 2014 showed that Poland would be ready to sign the EU green energy policy for 2030 and to curb its emissions in exchange of a financial compensation.

After the European Council which decided on the 2030 Climate and Energy Policy Framework, Polish Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz said that her government was happy with its outcome as the country had received from the EU everything that it asked for in terms of energy.
