EU Agencies: underpinning the work of the European Union

From 15-17 October 2014, FRA hosted the annual Heads of European Union Agencies and Heads of Administrations meetings in Vienna, as it currently chaired the network of agencies. During this time, EU agencies were taking part in a public debate about their added value, demonstrating the vital role they play in supporting EU and national decisions in a wide variety of fields that affect some 500 million people living and working across the EU.
