Androulla Vassiliou, the European Commissioner responsible for sport, congratulated on the 22 September 2014 the cities and football associations selected to host the EURO 2020 football championships. The 13 host cities were announced by UEFA President Michel Platini in Geneva: London's Wembley stadium will the host the final and semi-finals. Baku, Munich, Rome and Saint Petersburg will be home to the quarter-finals and group games. Copenhagen, Bucharest, Amsterdam, Dublin, Bilbao, Budapest, Brussels and Glasgow will also host games at the finals. |
