Speech: Fresh Momentum for a Transatlantic Economic Partnership

Text of a speech by Karel De Gucht, European Commissioner for Trade, at the CDU Wirtschaftsrat Economic Conference 2014 in Berlin, on the 3 July 2014.

As a preview to the sixth round of talks on TTIP, several media sources reported that the EU expected to tackle Russian gas dependence with a new agreement with the United States on access to energy supplies.
