Britain is only just beginning to exploit its vast resources of offshore wind

The world’s largest offshore windfarm, Hornsea Project Two received development consent from the United Kingdom Government in August 2016.

When complete, the windfarm would deliver up to 1,800 megawatts of low carbon electricity to around 1.8 million UK homes.
