Oettinger lashes out at ‘anti-European’ Ecodesign campaigns

The energy commissioner Günther Oettinger said on the 13 June 2014 in a letter to ministers at the energy council that campaigns by politicians and press against EU energy saving consumer initiatives risked stirring anti-European sentiment and would not be taken lightly in Brussels.
