European Parliament votes for more modern inland waterway transport

On 15 April 2014, the European Parliament approved its position regarding to two proposals related to inland waterways:

+ a proposal to facilitate the use of the Reserve Fund in the inland waterway transport sector [established in the framework of Council Regulation 718/99];

+ a proposal relating to technical requirements.
