Germany backs exemptions to green energy rebates

The federal government, and the Länder (states) closed ranks on the 1 April 2014 in their dispute with the European Commission, over exemptions for the industrial sector provided by the controversial green energy law.

A study from the Handelsblatt Research Institute revealed that the German model of energy transition was disintegrating.
