Vucic’s campaign bears fruit in Serbian election

Results of the general election held in Serbia on the 16 March 2014.

Having secured 157 out of the 250 seats in parliament, Aleksandar Vucic and the Progressive Party (SNS) emerged as the winners of the Serbian parliamentary election.

Serbia's parliament approved the cabinet of Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić who took office on the 27 April 2014, pledging deep economic reform and a drive to get the country into the European Union by the end of the decade.
