Proposal for a Council Decision on the conclusion of the Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement with the Republics of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama

The EU-Central America Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement (PDCA) was signed on 15 December 2003 in Rome. Due to the mixed nature of this agreement, Member States had to ratify the agreement. This phase was concluded in December 2011 with the deposit of the last two outstanding ratifications.

According to the provisions of the agreement, it would enter into force one month after the deposit of this instrument of approval.
