On 4 February 2014, the European Parliament adopted the proposal on an additional transition period of 6 months during which non SEPA payments can still be accepted in the Eurozone. The vote allows non SEPA compliant payments to continue until 1 August 2014, in parallel with SEPA compliant payments.
