Isolated in Brussels: Merkel Clashes with EU Commission

Major article discussing Germany's evolving relations with the EU and, in particular, Chancellor Merkel's policy of 'more Europe, less Brussels'. Article suggests she wants to reduce the power of the European Commission and feels that while there should be more Europe level decisions national governments within the European Council need to be the key decision makers.
