The European Commission will provide €45m to Jordan to support civil society and media as well as assisting the government in efforts to reform the justice and security sectors. The three new financing agreements were signed on 25 November 2013 in Brussels by the Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy, Štefan Fule, and Jordanian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Saif. |
