Memo: Commissioner Michel Barnier welcomes European Parliament consent to the conclusion of the revised World Trade Organisation’s Government Procurement Agreement

On 19 November 2013, Commissioner Michel Barnier welcomed the European Parliament's consent to the conclusion of the revised World Trade Organisation's Government Procurement Agreement (GPA). This will ensure that GPA Parties will further open up their domestic public procurement markets to EU bidders and it will make public procurement rules more transparent.
