Speech: TTIP: The new EU-US commercial relationship and the future of the EU-Swiss trade

Text of a speech by Karel De Gucht, European Commissioner for Trade at a Luncheon hosted by the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce, Zurich, 15 November 2013.

The Commissioner talked about the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership with the United States of America and its global implications. He emphasised that Switzerland has everything to gain from an ambitious and ground-breaking bilateral trade agreement between the EU and the USA.
