Press Release: Statement by EU High Representative Catherine Ashton on violence in Lebanon

The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the Commission Catherine Ashton on 26 June 2013 expressed her deepest sympathy to the families of the victims, to the Lebanese Armed Forces and to all those who have suffered from violence during the clashes in Sidon.

She reiterated the EU's commitment to Lebanon's peace, unity, sovereignty and independence.
