Visit of the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Policy to Iraq

The European Union's High Representative for Foreign Policy visited Iraq on 18 June 2013.

She met with Iraqi authorities, including the country's prime minister. During the meeting, the High Representative highlighted the importance of Iraq's democratic transition and stability and discussed the impact of regional instability and terrorism in consolidating democracy.
