Sales of veterinary antimicrobial agents in 25 EU/EEA countries in 2011: Third ESVAC report

The report, which is one of the main deliverables of the European Surveillance of Veterinary Antimicrobial Consumption (ESVAC) project based at the European Medicines Agency (EMA), presents standardised, aggregated sales data on veterinary antimicrobial agents.

A total of 25 European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA) countries submitted data to the EMA, marking a further improvement to the 2010 report, as these countries account for approximately 95% of the food-producing animal population in the EU and EEA.
