Press Release: Statement by EU High Representative Catherine Ashton on the high urgency of a political solution to the Syrian conflict

The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the Commission on 23 August 2013 condemned the alleged use of chemical weapons in Syria and called on the Syrian government to end continued violence.
