Memo: Commissioner Š.Füle met Astrid Thors, OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities

Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle met with Astrid Thors, the newly appointed OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities on 17 September 2013.

Commissioner Füle underlined the importance the European Commission attaches to the protection of minorities in the enlargement countries and in the countries of the Eastern Partnership. With regard to the enlargement process, protection of minorities is a key element of the Copenhagen political criteria.
