Commissioner Piebalgs to attend Presidential inauguration in Paraguay

European Commissioner for Development, Andris Piebalgs, represented the European Union at the inauguration of the President of Paraguay, Horacio Cartes, in Asuncion on 15 August 2013.

While in Paraguay, the Commissioner took stock of the country's progress and challenges and discussed priorities for future EU development cooperation.
