Commissioner Šemeta issued a statemnent following the European Parliament's vote in favour of the new OLAF Regulation on 3 July 2013. An important aspect of the OLAF reform is the strengthening of the procedural guarantees (i.e. respect of fundamental rights) for any person under investigation by OLAF. The new OLAF Regulation will enter into force on 1 August 2013. |
