Memo: Agriculture Council (Luxembourg), 24-25 June 2013

The Agriculture Council meeting of June took place in Luxembourg starting on June 24 2013, under the presidency of Mr Simon Coveney, Irish Minister of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.

Political trilogues (between the Council, the European Parliament and the Commission) took place – all with a view to moving closer to a political agreement on CAP Reform. (The aim is to start the final political trilogue in Brussels as soon as possible after the Council, followed by a meeting of the EP Agriculture Committee.)
