Industrial heritage and agri/rural tourism in Europe: A review of their development, socio-economic systems and future policy issues

This report provided a description and analysis of how, why, when and where industrial heritage based tourism and rural tourism had developed in Europe. It discussed issues in those subjects and suggested ways in which both activities could be expanded, made more viable and sustainable, and so deliver greater economic, environmental and socio-cultural benefits for the local communities involved and for Europe as a whole.
