Bulgarian parliamentary election, 2013

Preview and reports of the general election in Bulgaria, 12 May 2013.

EUObserver and other news sources reported that former Prime Minister Boyko Borisov’s centre-right GERB party ( Citizens for the European Development of Bulgaria) narrowly won the snap general election, but said that political turmoil in the country was set to continue, as the tight result would make the formation of a coalition government difficult.
