Press Release: The Third Ministerial meeting of the Renewed Northern Dimension, Brussels, 18 February 2013 – Joint Statement

The third Ministerial meeting of the renewed Northern Dimension (ND) was convened in Brussels on the 18th of February 2013, hosted by the European Union and chaired by the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission. The Ministers underlined the key role of the Northern Dimension – representing an equal partnership of the EU, Russia, Norway and Iceland – in fostering prosperity, sustainable development and well-being through regional cooperation in Northern Europe, drawing on the geographic proximity, economic interdependence and common cultural heritage of the participants.
