Participants explored potential ways forward in international drugs policy. Discussions focused on the international components of drugs and organized crime, including money laundering, potential lessons from the UK's strategy against tobacco smuggling, as well as drugs and organized crime policy experiences from other countries and regions (Colombia, Afghanistan, the Netherlands and West Africa in particular).
