Press Release: Fewer accidents and fatalities on EU railways in 2011

The European Railway Agency (ERA), in October 2012, published the overview of EU railway safety data for 2011. The data show that 2011 was the safest year on EU railways since 2006, which was the first year of a common data collection in the EU.
