The European Central Bank (ECB) held a topping out ceremony on the 20 September 2012 to celebrate the completion of the main structural works for its new premises on the site of the Grossmarkthalle – the former wholesale market hall in Frankfurt am Main.

The ECB’s relocation to its new headquarters remains scheduled, as planned, for 2014.
