Fiscal treaty splits Dutch parties ahead of election

EurActiv reported that the EU's new fiscal pact became a political football in the Netherlands ahead of the 12 September 2012 election, with Finance Minister Jan Kees de Jager dismissing opposition suggestions it should reject the treaty.
