On 28 June 2011, the Commission initiated an expiry review of the anti-dumping measures applicable to imports of certain seamless pipes and tubes, of iron or steel, originating in Croatia, Russia and Ukraine. The attached proposal for a Council Regulation is based on the findings of the lasting nature of the continuation or recurrence of dumping and inury concerning the imports of certain seamless pipes and tubes, of iron or steel, originating in Russia and Ukraine. With regard to Croatia, it was found that it is not likely that injury would reoccur if the measures were allowed to lapse. It is therefore proposed that the Council adopt the attached proposal for a regulation extending the measures currently in force on imports of certain seamless pipes and tubes, of iron or steel, originating Russia and Ukraine for a period of five years and terminating the proceeding concerning imports of certain seamless pipes and tubes, of iron or steel, originating in Croatia. |
