Annual report of the European Environment Agency (EEA) and the European Commission reports on the quality of more than 22,000 bathing sites. This report includes sites in all 27 EU Member States and three other countries. The results show that 92.1% of bathing waters in the European Union met the minimum water quality standards set by the Bathing Water Directive in 2011. |
