German opposition in fiscal treaty demands

Article reported that Germany’s centre-left opposition (SPD and the Greens) were demanding new measures from the government to stimulate eurozone growth as the price of their support for the EU's fiscal discipline treaty championed by Chancellor Angela Merkel.
