Barnier urges Cameron and City to ‘play the game’

Report of a speech by Michel Barnier, European Commissioner for Internal Market and Services, in the City of London, 23 January 2012.

He suggested that the United Kingdom must learn to 'play the European game' and give up seeking UK exemptions that would hurt the economy and endanger open trade.
