Economic growth must be decoupled from environmental harm – the EEA evaluates findings from 2011

Article considers the effects of the 2009 recession on the environment, summarises Europoean Environment (EEA) findings from 2011 and looks ahead to the Rio+20 UN Sustainable Development Conference, which will be held in Rio de Janeiro in June 2012.
