In this study the role of accreditation of VET providers and its relation to quality assurance are analysed by means of in-depth case studies into eight national and four sectoral accreditation systems. The countries selected for study are: Denmark, Germany, France, Hungary, Italy (Lombardy region), Romania and the United Kingdom (England). The sectoral case studies cover the following sectors: banking and financial services; European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) in the ICT sector; hotels and restaurants; welding. |
