The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), on 4 November 2011, launched a public consultation on its draft Science Strategy 2012-2016. The document explains the scientific contribution EFSA will make to the European food safety system over the next five years. All stakeholders and interested parties are invited to provide comments by 21 November 2011.

Please note that the document that was submitted to the Management Board in December 2011 was a revised version of the document discussed my the Management Board in October 2011.
