German ‘role model’ prize withdrawn from Putin

The organisation Werkstatt Deutschland revoked its 2011 decision to grant Russia Prime Minister Vladimir Putin the Quadriga Award for 'role models for enlightenment, dedication and public good' following criticism from human rights and other groups, July 2011.
