Press Release: New rules mean it will be easier and cheaper to travel abroad with pets

The United Kingdom will harmonise its pet movement rules with the rest of the European Union from 1 January 2012, meaning that pets returning to the UK from abroad will no longer need to spend six months in quarantine. However, all pets will still need to be vaccinated against rabies.
