Berlusconi brands speculators ‘locusts’

Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi set out his economic programme to the Italian parliament on the 21 June 2011. He promised to cut income taxes and lashed out at 'locusts of international speculation', while seeking to reassure markets that his government represents stability and fiscal responsibility.
