Shifts in the job structure in Europe during the Great Recession

There were five million fewer people in paid employment in the EU27 in the second quarter of 2010 than in the second quarter of 2008 as a result of the economic crisis, the most severe in over a generation. This report describes the impact that this employment decline has had on the structure of employment in the EU27.
