EU aid policy to target fewer states and good governance

EUObserver reports in May 2011 that a a forthcoming review of the EU's development policy by the European Commission, due to be published in the autumn of 2011, will say that European aid to poorer countries should focus on fewer recipient states and be increasingly linked to democratic advancements.
