Will the Crisis Change Gender Relations in Labour Markets and Society?

The article discusses the impact of the current economic crisis on gender relations in EU member states. Based on data showing the development of employment, unemployment and gender specific developments it comes to the conclusion that the crisis and accompanying economic policies will not lead to more gender equality in the labour market and in society.
